Crossed swords is usually a cavlary regiment in UK..he did mention working with the 82nd which is Air cav i believe..i know the UK don't have Air cav pe' sa, but do have ground mechanized.. Meaning his expertise was jumping from planes, which he's obviously changed to fast roping which 1st Paras learn aswell, to insertion by helicopter...

@fullenglishbreakfast3289 73rd air cav is the 82nd in reality, 82nd is the Parent outfit, with the 73rd consisting of a Infantry, recon and Mechanised regiment, reorg due to Vietnam war to get light weight armour (mainly sheridans) to hot spots or strong points by chinhook, or jolly green giant, and Huey for the infantry to protect the Armour...
