And yes Britain was at war for nearly 3 years before Pearl Harbour was attacked and Americans joined the war, also no commonwealth country was asked to assist until the North African campaign, so yes the British was most fukin definitely fighting on their own as a nation, many People from others made their way on their own vadility to Join the cause, as with Canadians, poles, and Czehs in the BOB...
