Alot of of U boat POW's stayed on in britain after the war and married and had families, not far from my town where i was born, was one of the first POW camps for Kriegsmarine personnel in britain! , and then after the italian collapse in africa it housed lots of italians to, who also done the same, in fact my gramp would argue like cat and dog with a veteran called zeppy over garden field allotment buisness as if they hated one another then would buy each other drinks later that night down the band club as if they was best mates? it was a bizarre thing to witness growing up as a kid... But i wouldnt change it for the world...

  9. How can any town that live next to the sea not have water!!! If british army can supply troops with it in the middle of the desert in ww2, why cant we do it now with more modern equiptment and technology, they sit moaning because sea levels are rising and resovoirs are drying up.... Well bit of brain and determination you could kill two birds with one stone...

Maybe because we are building on every scrap of land, and small countries with a influx of migrants have to build even more, the trees getting chopped greenacre land cleared, is all contributing to the demise of insects.. That man has the right idea and made is own little paradise,you keep stuffing people in high rises or blocks of flats with concrete for parking instead of gardens it takes it toll on wild life and fauna, during ww2 nearly everybody had a garden or allotment plot, sadly even they are now being built on, lots of people grew and raised their own food, my mother took great pride in her garden with many flowers, every summer it was a hive of activity with many species of imsects, birds and even squirrels which she had to shoo of many a time for eating all the food and chasing the birds away, well she didnt she'd let the dog out and say "shoo em off gal" which the dog found great fun, but never once could catch or even come near catching one, to be honest i think she'd be scarred and run away if she came near, squirrels are no push over, when push comes to shove....

They always got to moan about something that can help,they always make the small people suffer and feel guilty, like how much energy is needed to do it with this climate change, every nuclear plant is near the sea so stick two or three salination plants next to the bloody things then, bit of irish navie work and pipe it to resovoirs job done, not only does it reduce sea level but fills drying up resovoirs, it dont take a genius to work it out....and then its oh no lots of brine is left over as by chemical, well brine is only bloody salt and every creature needs it, so let it evaporate in these hotter summers we are now having to turn it into crystals and voila ready for the table..after all money was called salt and used as currency...

People been saying that for over ten years, they cant or dont want assimilate into other cultures, they dont even try to learn the language, why do they need to when whole neighbourhoods are suited for them, with the hosts language never being used... You should be carefull in that forest, loads of un-exploded ordinance still in there, and being a dence forest no modern anti personal mine removal vehicles can get in there, ive heard stories of grenades and mortar rounds still sitting in the crooks of trees half embedded with the future growth that once was a booby trap linked to a trip wire that has long since corroded away...
