Anglophobe, The facts are that yanks wanted to see Britain lose, so they could greedily spoil over her carcass, they gave the shite stuff at the start to look like and give the impression they was on board and allied with auld chums but Britain wasnt supposed to prevail, firstly in BOB then secondly in North africa which was secretly hoped to be the final nail?, its only untill pearl harbour and Hitler decalaring war on them they started to pull their fingers out and realised the threat so upped the quality and quantity...and warmed the tongue in cheek relationship....kissinger was right, and how the UK ended up after WW2 and how they got treated, the Brits who know this history find it hard to forgive and forget!!, and to be quite honest i can hardly blame them, they was shat on and squandered as the best ally mericans could possibly have, what a waste, all in the name of deceit & greed?, i hope it was worth it in the long run, something tells me they may regret doing it as tensions rise throughout the globe and friends are more important than ever?...
