  6. Christianity is also loosely based on Paganism especially Roman Catholicism and prodestantism... In UK and Ireland.... Its how the Romans excepted it.. Ancient Romano British prayed to many gods...like pagans. It how the Roman elite brought the ancient celts of Briton along on their ride aswell...

When the Romans first arrived in Britain they still worshiped gods of war, gods of the underworld, gods of the hunt, fertility gods like vesta, many similar gods the Brythonic celts worshipped to, only with different names, its a very tangled web of how Christianity came to Britain...
