At 5:14, the vessels are called commerce raiders two famous ones was 'KMS penguin' and 'KMS atlantis, both booty of war the latter getting dealt with and sunk by the aussies themselves in the indian ocean after it had sank alot of tonnage...indeed both had successful forays with the penguin operating in the Atlantic and med....

U boats dont have any white materials aboard, it would be pointless as it would get grubby real quick with no way of washing it regularly, also where did the Red paint come from, im not defending what the yanks did as im a Englishman and my own gramp was a merchantman in WW2, but that flag would have been small as no WHITE sheets or pillow cases are on uboats so maybe the red cross flag was hard to identify, either being to small or in fact differnt colors all together, and also the Uboat with attached life boats could have looked as if one of their own vessels had sunk and in fact they was picking up their own up, as it would be a bizarre almost unbelievable thing to see and think that the enemy was saving yours, its just a possibility.
