But Hitler wasnt on his own though was he?, he had his axis allies in Japan, Italy Romania, Hungary, vichy France, Latvia, Lithuania, Bulgaria and SS divisions from nearly every European country, even Finland at the start? ... So thats hardly having to fight a war unfairly is it now, when in fact on paper it would look the strongest of the two sides in area size and strength?!....

@themidcentrist England is when referring to the one nation on her own, Britain is when referring about all three, as in the welsh and scots to, and UK is used when northern Ireland is involved aswell when referring as a collective..

Why did the natzie commanders steal most of the supplies and take them into underground tunnels for themselves, whilst the poor civilians above starved and un-sheltered from the Bombs, why wasnt they evacuated or told to flee to safer areas?, im sure Mr Meyer could have warned them on the radio or put preparations into place, like underground railway lines, more shelters, fire watchers and fire services like the Brits had manged to do during the Blitz into organising the services into a well oiled machine...

Yeah it was yanks who bombed civilians indiscriminately , RAF had specialist bits of kit and agents in occupied and enemy nations, they used mozzies at night using oboe, Rebecca's to target illuminate war manufacturing and other areas relating to war...

Are you for real or what?!. how the fuk can somebody blame the British for france loosing and be made to capitulate?, can you see how pathetic and oxymoronic it is, and it wasnt only the french fighting a rear guard action at Dunkirk many Bloody Brits was killed or had to be left behind doing the same thing, and as for Poles the same bloody thing, although we appreciate their efforts and are extremely thankful, but they didn't save Britain, they couldn't even save their own nation, they hated Natzie's and wanted vengeance, the Brits gave them the opportunity and tools to get back at them, with 2 squadrons of hurricaines consisting of 12 to 14 planes in each squadron, they certainly didn't do it for good ole great Britain? ... So just because you think its clever and trendy to hate the Brits and besmirch and denigrate them at every given opportunity, but the fact is facts and they dont lie, and to make up BS to project a narrative is really low and spiteful that needs to stop as for karma can be a fickle mistress.... @YThome7 how did soviet help the British pray tell me, after all it was stalin grovelling to the Brits and Americans to open up a second front to take the pressure off the Soviet because the germans was practically at moscows door, also aid went to soviets not the other way around, meaning British made weapons supplied aswell as American ones..also if it wasnt for the campaign in north africa, the germans would have gotten access to suez canal and the oil fields beyond all the way to baku also letting germans crawl up the arses of the Soviets from the south, allowing a two front war from the west and the south on the Soviets and remember the Japs if they wasnt under pressure in the asian theatre could also have free reign to attack the Soviets from the east thats game over for the Soviets, in fact the last ever battle of ww2 was fought in the east of russia between the Japanese and soviets on islands still contested to this day?..

@Daggz90 TBF when you're in a signed up pact agreement, if a nation declares war on one member of this pact it means all?, so in theory the Soviets was the enemy aswell at that point in time? , but at the end of the day allies would have still needed to go through Germany first and defeat them to get to Russia! , fortunately or stupidly the Germans about turned and invaded Russia not long after, and broke their own pact agreement .. SMH i suppose if one will... Funny old world isn't it.....

@Daggz90 to be fair, when you're signed up in a pact as in the Rippontrop/Molotov pact, it means that if a nation or nations declares war on one of said pact member, it means the same for all the other members of that pact!, so in theory the Soviets was the enemy to the allies at that point of time, but even if, and then the allies would've had to march through germany and defeat them first to get to the Russians?, fortunately or stupidly Hitler about turned not long after and invaded russia?, hence immediately breaking their sworn agreed pact?. , SMH, i suppose if one will?! , its a funny old world isn't it....

@Daggz90 what are you going on about, you know what i wrote is correct take the asian or pacific theatre out the way, and the Soviets hitler still had nearly twice the men in uniform compared to commonwealth, its fine being a german admirer, but playing the unfair victim of numbers so they can be viewed more nobel aint gonna work pal, nor will with anybody else with half a brains worth of knowledge about WW2...also vichy had colonial soldiers so did italy...

@ruttj329 franco's Spanish civil war, and the Japanese invading manchuria was the actual start of the war, then Hitler being emboldened to start is own strife in Gdansk, Sudaten land, then Poland due to seeing how well japs was doing with their own Asian imperialism and how well his newly formed modern luftwaffe performed in Guernica.... His biggest mistake was declaring war on USA or he'd have wiped the Ruskies out, before Britain and the Commonwealth could get their preparations and war industry together...
