Funny thing is some bang on about english being colonialists in america, but if you now done a survey on surnames in america its graph would show in this order in percentage of numbers from highest id bet it would be=italian, irish/scot, spanish, german,french,scandinavian, romanian/hungarian in fact english surname would probably be near the end of the list....
