Thats what happens when you have one of the wetest years on record and have no workforce to pull them out the ground because nearly everybody in the country has pissed of to merica or oz, the longer they stay in sodden ground the quicker the blight takes hold.... @nadinenadine9739 hows that then? , as far as i know most could speak gaelic in the rebublic, well most use to be able about 10 years ago, so how can this be due to the brits, dont you think its more to do with lazyness and not wanting to?, after all the welsh still held onto their native tongue more prevenantly than the irish in fact, and wales more a part of the uk than irish rebublic...
