  3. Legit people from China on Twitter: 50cent army. Not regular citizens of China. So, no harm done. The actual Chinese citizens are not allowed on twitter unless they are OK'd by gov, because China is a giant open air prison.

  7. ​​nah. The UN assists the CCP in identifying and hunting down escapees so that they can harass any family or friends still living in China in attempt to persuade the dissidents to return. They also have "police" outposts in multiple locations in the US. Sure, if the gov doesn't suspect you, they allow you to leave. But if you happened to upset them, you lose access to infrastructure and freedom to travel. Have you heard about the retired Chinese MMA fighter who travelled around China and sparred with Chinese martial art "masters?" Also there are two YouTuber channels of two men who lived in China and travelled around on motorcycles for more than 10 years. They have tons of experiences of how bad it was.
