@iTek14 The sergeant at arms is absolutely in control of the capitol security and that person reports directly to The Speaker of the House who approves the requests. Nancy has already stated that she denied it.

That person reports directly to the Speaker of the House and has to get permission from the speaker to add troops. 10,000 additional troops were requested and Nancy Pelosi denied them. She had stated this on camera and taken responsibility.
