  24.  @Jackson-th3th  I would say that is exactly the issue. He himself explains that most historians do not really have a deep insight into time and space, beyond their research limits. What Schwerpunkt does seems like a very extraordinary thing even on a doctoral basis

  41. Me too. Except, I would say, Schwerpunkt is better. AM addresses mostly certain topics that are considered pseudo-sophisticated in a British look-upon-the decadence perspective and not as a sound overall view and world interpretation on a self-standing universal moral and scientific basis. AM tells history, analyzes some general conceptions of the aforementioned topics but also stops to that contemporary perception. Schwerpunkt is capable of explaining you how people actually thought at the time, what they believed, what they did and why and on top of that as a master-level methodological reconstruction analysis of politics, war and society that I would not exchange for any other view. Traditional Continental culture at its finest
