Good for you mate. Looking at the facts instead of appealing to this victim narrative. If Kaba was a good man who was targeted and not a danger to society, then I would agree with this outrage. Need more people in your community to come to their senses đ

 @Simulacrum84 Itâs not at all. If you think Iâm being bigoted, letâs compare Stephen Lawrence to Kaba. Stephen, wasnât involved with gangs, was viscously assaulted and murdered by random Neo Nazi thugs, had his investigation bollocksâd up by incompetent police. And it took years for his family to get some half arsed semi justice. He and his family have my sympathies. Completely get the outrage at the police. Complete lack of justice. Kaba, was a gang member, had charges for firearms and assaulting his ex, was driving a car suspected of being involved in a shooting incident, didnât comply with police and very probably endangered an officer.

 @Simulacrum84 Well yer I suppose.

Youâd be singing a very different tune if the gang kaba was a part of, hurt one of your family. Iâm sure other black kids have been victims. Then you would moan that the police donât care about protecting you because theyâre racist. Theyâre damned if they do, and damned if they donât.

 @lifeisblessed4802 Nope, by the fact theyâre armed response. They have a legal right to use deadly force if the situation warrants it. And Iâm pretty sure this did. He drove his car at the officer. Put yourself in that situation and imagine the fear you would feel. These people have a family to go home too, they donât want to get flattened by some gang banger. The level of scrutiny in this case seems to be ridiculous. Probably to appease BLM and the mediaâs never ending thirst for grievance politics. Police trying to save their image and have put this poor sod up as a sacrificial lamb. Kaba is not a victim.

 @JAY1892 Ha I feel your pain bro

 @Simulacrum84 If it turns out that the media had lied. And that he wasnât acting erratically and being a danger, then I will eat some humble pie. But at the moment I believe his fate was self inflicted.

 @wretcher65 Yer BS. If he was driving towards an armed officer, how could it be murder?? The guyâs life was in danger. Kaba was a legit criminal and violent POS person. Theyâre doing this to appease the BLM lot who only care that Kaba was black. Theyâre not interested in justice. They want vengeance. And the police are so terrified of a scandal, theyâll do anything to protect their tattered reputation. Even use one of their own as a sacrificial lamb.

 @lifeisblessed4802 You also werenât there. But we have had information coming out about what happened. Based on that, the officer in my opinion, did what he had to do. But it doesnât matter to you. Even if Kaba had pointed a gun directly at this officer you would still want him punished. Because Iâm guessing you hate the police and they can do no right in your eyes. The arrogance of writing âthe endâ is a big giveaway to how closed minded you are.

All police should refuse to carry their weapons after this. Total stitch up by an institution trying to protect its tattered reputation. Theyâre appeasing BLM gimps who have no interest in justice, only vengeance. Kabaâs stupidity was the reason for his death. The world will be better without him.

 @captainshapes7486 Bright intelligent man, who beat his missus, went to prison for firearm possession, was part of a gang and who refused to stop for police đ¤Ą

 @spennynash I bet you spent half an hour writing thatâŚ

 @Simulacrum84 Itâs not âblack man got what he deservedâ itâs âkaba got what he deservedâ. But yer I get your overall point.

 @Simulacrum84 Well the fact that BLM jumped on this and span some BS narrative, definitely pushed the focus onto race. People canât seem to see this case in any other way except through the lense of Identity politics. I donât judge Kabaâs character on his skin colour, I judge it based on his criminal past. But I agree, with video evidence in court, let their actions speak for themselves.

 @Simulacrum84 No of course his past doesnât justify or warrant some death sentence. But itâs definitely something that gives us an idea on who he was. And why he might have acted the way he did. His actions that night caused his death. This wasnât some premeditated hit job. The policeman feared for his life.

 @Simulacrum84 Also I donât get my answers from Reddit. I look into what the media reports. Usually left and right leaning to get a balance of things. If incorrect info has been published, then itâs hardly my fault. Like everyone else in 2023, thatâs how I get my news.
