@AnecdotalAvery No I don’t agree with banning guns in the U.S. Don’t worry I’m not anti gun. I just think maybe advanced background checks and registered. Maybe mandatory lessons for new owners and if you have children, you need a secure place to store them. There’s obviously mental health and bullying issues to tackle as well.

How do you stop someone having a mental breakdown who also has access or owns guns?? It’s easy to say only criminals commit these crimes, but mass shooters usually legally purchase their firearms. And how many times do you hear the “he/she was nice, quiet, unassuming” when talking after an incident. Don’t think banning guns is the answer. Maybe regular mental assessments for gun owners?? Mandatory classes, have to be locked away in a safe??

@AnecdotalAvery Mass shooters prior to their rampage where all law abiding citizens. It’s not career criminals doing these massacres.

@AnecdotalAvery Was thinking that increased mental health care for men would hopefully reduce that. Also stopping the demonising of men through identity grifting in the media. Males are told they’re toxic and responsible for all these problems in society. If they feel sad or depressed it’s “oh poor little white cis male”. People dismiss them so they bottle it up.
