@TheSchuetzeP That was tongue in cheek mate, don’t rage. I don’t have an issue with Germany, it’s a cool place. The thing with calling it humane is that it’s not a clear cut situation. Some people are concerned with the social pressure and political willingness to bend to these trans issues without any scrutiny. England is not transphobic for taking caution when it comes to implementing laws which could potentially hurt vulnerable people.

@TheSchuetzeP Unfounded and transphobic?? So throwing ad hominem buzzwords at me instead of an actual response. Obviously there’s risk to mental health with any treatment for gender dysphoria. A lot of these young people are vulnerable and potentially not mature enough to handle it. Why is 18 years old deemed so unfair by you guys??

@TheSchuetzeP And plenty kill themselves well after 18 too. Surely high suicide rates both before and after would be a reason to take caution with treatment?? Or is that transphobic too??

@TheSchuetzeP not sure on who that is but what are the ages of the children used in this study?? I don’t find it hard to believe that these children were happier when being told yes. My child would eat chocolate all day and be happy if I let him. Is it the responsible thing to do??

@TheSchuetzeP Ooff!! That’s a telling off 😄. Look bro, this is YouTube not some Uni debating society or political think tank. I wield no power on these decisions I’m giving my opinion. With the whole due diligence, I’ve been busy today and haven’t had time to research these studies. Shoot me. What I do know is that airing on the side of caution is probably best when dealing with life changing issues and a developing teenage brain. I’m also aware that certain pressure groups definitely have influence within academic circles and the media. If 16 year old Jim wears a dress and calls himself Jenny then fair enough but when we’re talking about taking steps to either medically transition or change their gender legally then It’s a no. Maybe when I have time to look up the pointers you sent I will change my mind.

@TheSchuetzeP So after a small amount of research it seems that this Kristina Olsen is a typical tale. Highly praised in certain scientific papers and progressive publications who cite her work. No surprise really for the western world. If you dig a little deeper there’s some heavy criticism of her conclusions and interpretation of data. Like people took the data and came to vastly different conclusions. She’s also spoken of her personal views on the issue and I’m guessing they’re saying she has some major confirmation bias.
