  26. I personally think a small amount of these police shooting incidences can be explained by trigger happy cops on a power high. But think about it this way. The likelihood of getting in a potentially dangerous altercation skyrockets in some of these areas. Of course police are going to be more on their guard than compared to some peaceful outer city suburban area. So they will be alot more reactive. It only takes a second to mistake a movement as threatening and make the wrong choice. The thing is most residence of these neighbourhoods are black. So black people then feel victimised by the cops being rough. But the fact of the matter is that most of these violent crimes are being committed by a small percentage of that community. So the community shuns the police due to a number of incidences of innocents being targetted and stops talking to them. Then when (x) number of murders occurr, no one will help the police so the police resort to treating everyone as a potential criminal. Then the racial profiling starts and the whole cycle repeats.

  35. Well there are good stories that have come out of religion. For example somebody finds god and through his/her faith they overcome troubles in their lives. However don't let that overshadow the negatives that religion has brought. It has also been responsible for many cases of genocide, terrorism, persecutions,wars etc. Religion is not a force for good it is simply a force. Good and bad things happen because of it.
