@Piggy-Oink-Oink Don't know what You read, but it wasn't the Constitution.

Donalds can't be VP because he lives in the same state as Trump. They have to be from different states.

@Piggy-Oink-Oink WRONG! Sweety I read the Constitution at least once a week. Obviously you dont. It clearly states in the 12th Amendment "The electors shall meet in their respective states and vote by ballot for the President and Vice President, one of whom at least, SHALL NOT BE AN INHABITANT OF THE SAME STATE with themselves." The President and vice President cannot be from the same state.

@Piggy-Oink-Oink TRUE. sweety, I read the Constitution at least once a week. The 12th Amendment clearly states it. It was part of Article 2 until June 15, 1804 when The 12th Amendment was ratified. "The electors shall meet in their respective states and vote by ballot for President & Vice President, ONE OF WHOM SHALL NOT BE AN INHABITANT OF THE SAME STATE".

@debbysinger60 Fact Amendment 12 replaced part of Article 2. Cant you read? Amendment 12: "The electors shall meet in their respective States, and vote by Ballot for President and Vice President, ONE OF WHOM at least, SHALL NOT BE AN INHABITANT OF THE SAME STATE WITH THEMSELVES" It was Ratified June 15, 1804. The President & Vice President SHALL NOT be from the same state as themselves. If President Trump is the candidate for President, his VP SHALL NOT be from the same state. Don't know what you're reading, but its not the Constitution.

@debbysinger60 Nope. Amendment 12 ratified June 15, 1804. Guess you aren't as smart as you think you are.

@debbysinger60 "Shall not" is definitive. No matter what they can't. Sure, they can try, but the Constitution takes precedent. "All laws Repugnant to the Constitution are null and void". SCOTUS Decision in Marbury V Madison 1803. Hence the 12th Amendment in June 15, 1804.

@debbysinger60 Well I have a few years on you, but I do know how to read and comprehend the Constitution, read laws & statutes, read the federalist papers, read case law. Maybe you need to take a reading comprehension class since you obviously can't read the 12th Amendment and comprehend it it saying "One of which SHALL NOT reside in the same State."
