Yep, we didn't pay subcontractors either who did crappy jobs until they fixed the problems. Why pay for a bad job? You don't till it's done right.

@gregmiller1663 Was there a problem with sound or teleprompters, security etc. If the work isn't done right, don't expect to get paid. It's business, not personal.

@razberrycuddles22 It wasn't a joke or political. It's just fact. If work is not performed correctly, don't pay until it's done right. It's called Warranty work. It's the only recourse a customer or main contractor has. "The man with the gold makes the rules." The builder of my house kept screwing up, failing inspections. His subcontractor caved in about 50 feet of foundation wall due to hydrostatic pressure. He had the nerve to come at me demanding his draw. I tore up an 11,000.00 check right in his face and told him to do it right it or no money. Hecthoughtvhe could intimidate me pounding on my desk. I told him, "The woman with the money makes the rules, now get out of my office before I have you arrested." We called an engineer to inspect the building, and he gave a list of everything that had to be fixed and why. And he had to fix it on his dime. In the end, he owed us $364.00 to build the house and he had to pay my parents as well because he illegally stole her electricity for his power tools. He could have gone to jail for theft of electric. Trust me, there is nothing worse than a woman scorned.
