My friend was denied access to a shelter because ahe had 2 dogs. They made her leave them behind. How cruel. If my dogs & pets cant go with me, I'm not going. My pets are my family and a service dog. Imagine they turn Away Support dogs & Service dogs. Last time,I put ttgem in their crates and tied a rope around the. And around me. If wee were going, we were going together. I will NEVER leave my pets or service animals.

@awaken24 Why not? Shes epileptic and has two service dogs. One for her and one for her daughter. Its a federal crime to deny service dogs access. I'm hoping they will be reprimanded at least for denying service Dogs.

@Snappy650 Thats a pretty ignrant thing to say. Fact is, they shouldn't have lied to ppl telling them they were pet friendly shelters then turn ppl away that have pets. Her crappy Richy Rich Parents are pretty disgusting in my opinion for not letting her come to their house with her dogs, so they put their child and 2 grandchidren in danger. Her name is Rachel. As in Rachel Welsh the actress. Which has nothing to do with whether shes safe or not. Her parents are rich af and won't help her in any way.

@daniellepreyar If you notice, its a Bull Terrier. They can be pretty tenacious. That still is no excuse. Put a muzzle and pinch collar on it and take it with you. However, Bull Terriers are a breed used to breed real pit bulls. They want the tenacity the Bull Terrer breed has.

@awaken24 They had no business turning her away. Service Dogs are federally Protected. Especially SAR Dogs. My Best friend raised & trained Service dogs for autistic kids and SAR Dogs.

@shooter0311 Oh I bet DeSantiswill be getting a lot of complaints over crap like this. Did you see the Govt helicoters Rotorwashing Aid sites blowing the aid & the people all over the place. Ppl helping were hurt pretty bad too.

@annatetiad.4991 They made her by not allowing her to bring them. Pitch a fit or not, they wouldn't allow her dogs. They tried that shit with me and I went back home with my dogs to ride it out. I put them in their crates and tied a rope from them to me. If we were going to go. We were going together. We haven't heard back from her yet, so we don't even know if she's alive if she went back home.

@faith5563 If I was forced to leave them behind, I sure as heck wouldn't tie them up. That way they could at least try to find shelter or swim away. A known aggressive dog couldn't be let run free tho. Bull terriers are very tenacious. They have a 500lb psi in their jaws. Sticky situation.
