Well hes 18, he is responsible for HIS actions, not Lauren. If shes smart, she'll show sone painful tough love and let him see what it is to be a responsible adult. I had to do it with my daughter after her father ruined her life. Now shes clean and on the right path. It took a while and time behind bars, but she finally realized what it means to be a grown up. Thats how we learn is through our mistakes. She learned and so will he.
