  1. When we got a pool, I got in with the dog and taught him to swim to the steps over & over from different parts of the pool so he knew right where to swim to. Believe it or not, all dogs do not know how to swim automatically.

  2. ​ @cgamejewels In my state in the US, you only have to have a 4' fence around the yard a pool is in, not around the pool.
