And let me guess. You tell people all the time, how perfect the weather is in SoCal all year long. I wonder if there is a scientific name for a region that doesn’t experience much precipitation...

Oh no! And maybe a tornado will touch down in Kansas...

We’re just trying to save the giant sequoias and redwoods... their cones need smoke to release seeds. It’s almost like the ecosystem is built for fire. But it’s not like those trees are older than our country, older than the industrial revolution, older than the internal combustion engine. But yeah, it’s clearly our fault, California burns annually.

@muscleman125 ... So according to you. California’s largest fire, the August Complex fire, was totally ok. Because it was caused my lightning. Got it.

It didn’t rain at all in April in SoCal?... that’s crazy. It’s almost like it’s a desert...

@richardcranium3417 ... If you notice on the drive from LA to Las Vegas, how the entire landscape is brown... yeah, it’s called a desert.

So who managed the forests 500 years ago? Giant sequoias and redwoods need fire to reproduce. Fire is just part of the ecosystem there.

Oh yeah? The ecosystem built to burn, that has burned annually since before the country was founded, is self inflicted? I’m guess the tornados in Texas are self inflicted? What about hurricanes in Louisiana? Or blizzards in Buffalo?

Hey look! Another human trying to control the ecosystem that is built to burn. The ecosystem that has experienced fires every year for a millennia.

Van home? Yeah... in the rest of the country, we call that homeless.
