No. It gives the legislators the power. But we can pretend Georgia’s state legislation has always been Republican. You likely don’t want to acknowledge Democrats history in the south...

You understand that every state has an election board that must certify the results and, they have a governor that must ratify the results... it’s almost like the constitution says each state is responsible for their own election...

@ellaarkin70 ... Ok history buff. Remind me what Robert Byrd did when the Civil Rights act was heard on the floor of the senate. You should know Robert Byrd. Our current president spoke at his funeral. They had a long history of working together in the Senate as members of the same party.
