@MichaelSmith-fj7di ... Who are these legal adults showing up to vote, that cannot provide food and hydration for themselves? It’s simply a zero solicitation area within 150 feet of the polling station. Why is that bad? Because of long lines? Well, good thing Section 18 of the bill you didn’t read. Creates a volume threshold and, when met, precincts split locations or add more machines.

Too bad Section 18 of SB202 (the GA bill you didn’t read) addresses the issues of long lines. You’re worried about water, while Georgia is fixing the actual problem. Section 18 creates a volume threshold that will split precincts or add more machines. Section 26 of the bill requires every county to have a drop box, given they were not required in 2020 and many counties didn’t have them. So why don’t you want people having easier access to voting?

It would be better if people actually read the bill. There is plenty of things progressives will like about it. But unfortunately their partisanship gets in the way, so they seek out confirmation bias, resulting in misinformation.

@1MarkKeller ... These are legal adults showing up to vote. They are capable of proving food and hydration for themselves. Preventing people from finding any reason to solicit individuals within 150 feet of a polling station, should be viewed as a good thing. Especially when combined with Section 18, of the bill you didn’t read, that creates a volume threshold to split precincts or add machines. Which is aimed at reducing long lines in high traffic areas. Without SB202, people will continue to wait in long lines. And groups will have a reason to solicit those individuals in line. Why do you want that to continue?

@1MarkKeller ... Ideally 150 feet will contain any line people are waiting in. Where they are stuck and cannot avoid the solicitation. Once again, a line that should be reduced by the legislation in section 18 of SB202. Why do you want long lines that require someone to wait hours? Why do you want people to be solicited in line?

@therussiantrollnetwork7464 ... They can’t afford those free IDs? Lol

@therussiantrollnetwork7464 ... Yup. They can’t afford the free ID’s in Georgia. Just ask democrats...

1. Section 26 of SB202 (the bill you didn’t read) requires every county in GA to have drop boxes. Given that not every county had one in 2020, since they were not required. Would you agree that it is a good thing that they are now a requirement in every county? 2. The constitution gave state legislatures that power a long long time ago. Try reading it.

@1MarkKeller ... Please site the section of the bill rather than parrot a narrative you heard from someone else.

@Richard_Nickerson ... Ignore which negative things? Can you please name the specific sections of the bill you disagree with? Or do you just want to continue parroting a generic partisan narrative?
1
@Richard_Nickerson ... See, you’re not naming specific sections, you are parroting a narrative. These are legal adults voting. They should be capable of feeding and hydrating themselves. And do not need someone soliciting them in line for any reason. Section 18, of the bill you didn’t read, creates a volume threshold where precincts are divided or machines are added. This is to reduce long wait times in high traffic areas. So why do you not support this? Why do you want people waiting in line for hours? Why do you want groups to have a legal reason to solicit individuals waiting in line to vote?

Section 26 of SB202 requires every county in GA to have a drop box. Given that not every county had one in 2020. Why do you think it’s a bad thing to require drop boxes? Since you don’t support the bill you didn’t read...
