I’d say basic racism, such as saying black people are too poor to afford a free ID to be able to vote, is worse.

No. It’s racism. It’s judging people purely based on the color of their skin and no other factor. This is taken directly from the website for the National Museum of African American History and Culture. If you don’t think it’s racist. Replace every occurance of “white” with “black” and see if you’d find it offensive then. “These benefits and advantages, of varying degrees, are known as white privilege. For many white people, this can be hard to hear, understand, or accept - but it is true. If you are white in America, you have benefited from the color of your skin.”

@MaskOfCinder ... When democrats said black people shouldn’t go to school with white kids. They were racist because, it’s systemic. We all agree, segregation was racist. When Joe Biden says poor kids are just as bright as white kids. That’s his prejudice, because it’s about the individuals. Would you say Biden is racist? No, you wouldn’t. See the difference?

Every time I try read CRT articles. I replace the word “white” with “black” and, it always sounds incredibly racist. Why is that?

But it’s interesting to know you disagree with the dreams of MLK. Then again, it’s not surprising coming from a democrat. It is the party of slavery and segregation. Must be why democrats currently say black people are too poor to afford a free ID to vote.
