The vaccine uses m-RNA from the virus to create spike proteins for your body to build antibodies for. If the natural antibodies built from encountering the spike protein during an infection, is the same spike protein created from the vaccine, how is either antibody better than the other? They are antibodies created from the same spike protein, which is constructed from the same genetic material of the virus. One is simply isolated, one is not.

@joshuamerrill8629 Hey! What you’re saying makes logical sense. And I would even add that individuals can choose to also get vaccinated if they have or have not been infected, if they’d like that protection too. What you’re stating can be true. In addition to the vaccine working well, is true. Unfortunately, too many people conflate these issues. It’s nice to see someone like yourself actually grounded in reality.

And my sister was vaccinated and was also sick for a week after contracting covid. This is called anecdotal evidence. And it’s useless.
