When the economy is good... people don't have to run around proclaiming the economy is good.

@Jackthestripper It sure did. A record high it was on course to hit in 2022. Why has the S&P 500 only had single digit growth since the end of 2021...?
2
Oh wow, your mental gymnastics with Fox News is astounding.
2
The mental gymnastics you people go through with Fox News is incredibly amusing.
2
@améliehester6996 Really? Increasing the operational cost of a business has no relationship to prices...?
2
When the economy is good, people don't have to run around saying it's good.
2
Since the end of 2021, the S&P 500 has only gained 4%. How is this goooooood....?
1
@Jackthestripper Please, answer my question rather than avoid it. How is 4% growth over the previous two years good?
1
@bertthompson4748 Notice how my initial comment says "Since the end of 2021"...? Is reading difficult for you?
1
@boogit9979 Well, for example, in 2020 when the economy shut down for multiple weeks, the S&P 500 dipped, but recovered and still gained 10% on the year. How does 4% growth signify a good economy?
1
@boogit9979 This channel loves to say how the economy is strong, there is no inflation only corporate price gouging. If that's true, why have the top 500 companies collectively grown only 4% in two years, when a 10% annual growth is expected? And if you want to discuss other metrics, we can discuss how high the federal interest rate is to counteract the rampant inflation... Do you think that's a good thing too?
1
So how did "blue collar" Joe make his millions?
1
So build back better is a lie?
1
You mean the more I work, with the less I spend, the more money I save...? You're brilliant!
1
@InstantOnyx And yet David proclaims it to his own audience...
1
@EricCartman915 You mean when you wanted the workforce to shut down...?
1
@danevertt3210 Which is exactly why you know it's a lie...
1
@danevertt3210 I'm sorry, you're right. Fox never lies... LMAO
1
@Loj84 Yes, exactly. Trump is a moron, and the economy is not well. Both of these things are true.
1
@EricCartman915 Oh, so you think people should have worked through the pandemic? Which is it?
1
@jonathanmcvay4499 But this is David's YouTube channel, where this is professed to his audience. Why does David need to keep telling you it's good?
1
@EricCartman915 What's amazing is in 2020, with the pandemic, the S&P 500 still gained 10% from January to December. Meanwhile, since December of 2021 until now, there has only been 4% growth.
1
@Loj84 "until something happens to make them notice" Exactly... Consumers know on their own when the economy is strong. It doesn't need to be repeated over and over.
1
@jonathanmcvay4499 Oh, I didn't realize as David's audience member, you support Trump. I guess it makes sense, you're exactly like the red hat people because you are one. Thanks for the explanation.
1
@Loj84 No, it's like your comment added nothing to the conversation. Because it didn't.
1
@EricCartman915 What's the federal interest rate at again...?
1
Meanwhile in reality... For the past two years, since the end of 2021, the S&P 500 has experienced only 4% growth.
1
@brankobelfranin8815 So you're saying they don't tell the truth?
1
Before Trump snared you... Notice how you couldn't help but bring him up? You're obsessed with the orange buffoon.
1
And when prices go up, you'll blame corporate price gouging... Do you think McDonalds starting pay of $15/hr affects the price of a Big Mac?
1
@améliehester6996 So in a competitive market where a business continues to absorb the increasing operational cost, without adjusting their prices... What happens to the business when their cost exceeds their revenue? Like you said, basic economics.
1
@améliehester6996 So you're saying if costs continue to grow without adjusting prices, there will not be a business? Huh, sure seems like cost and prices are connected after all.
1
@améliehester6996 So if costs continue to rise, without adjusting prices, there won't be a business? Huh, sure seems like cost and prices are connected after all.
1
@DissectGibberish So... Fox News is lying about the economy since they are not credible?
