On Jan. 6th. An unarmed protester was shot dead by Capitol police. I’m old enough to remember when the police shooting an unarmed citizen was a bad thing. Can we burn another Wendy’s for the dead unarmed citizen?

Nine of the people killed during protests were demonstrators taking part in Black Lives Matter protests. Two were conservatives killed after pro-Trump “patriot rallies”. All but one were killed by fellow citizens.”

I guess being the law enforcement is harder than they thought. This was published by the BBC on June 30, 2020... “A teenager has been killed and another critically wounded in a shooting in Seattle's autonomous zone. One teenager, 16, was fatally shot and died after being taken to hospital. The other victim, 14, is in intensive care. The zone, initially known as Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (Chaz) and now called Capitol Hill Occupied Protest (Chop), was set up amid protests over the killing of George Floyd. As it is part of a protest against police brutality, it is self-policing.”

Including an unarmed black teenager, shot dead by security at the self-policing CHAZ, which was assembled to protest police violence. But yes, focus on the fake gallows brought to the Capitol, that couldn’t structurally support a bag of sand, let alone a human.

Let me know when you feel like the dead black teenager was justified too. But hey, at least you’re defending those politicians in Washington. I mean, who cares about the civilians killed in the streets, when the political elite are scared. Just don’t forget to wipe your chin.

@donxavier10 ... I’m just happy to know if on Jan. 6th instead of going to the Capitol. If the violence was just in the street, directed at civilians and private businesses. You’d support it. And I do think the dead unarmed black teen is quite relevant to the story. Given that it occurred at the CHAZ which was self policing. And only existed to protest the killings of minorities by police. Ohhh the irony. Just like the dumbasses on Jan.6th fighting with cops, while waiving thin blue line flags. The violence on Jan. 6th should never have happened. Neither should the violence the entire summer of 2020 that left 25 dead. The difference is who the violence was against, while protesting the government.

Just because CNN doesn’t show it, doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. Our VP created a fund to bail out rioters. Six square blocks of a major city was taken over for a month. There are copies of fliers BLM handed out to business in Louisville, attempting to extort them with threat of violence. Yet here you are defending it, pretending it didn’t happen. With 25 dead...

@donxavier10 ... Hahahaha. The foundation of the government was under attack. That’s cute. This isn’t the 1800s. The seat of power does not exist because of who is in the capital building. DC was burned to the ground by a foreign military force, yet our country still stood. And in 2020 Capital police held doors open for people. Get a grip on reality. Turn off CNN and open a history book. If Jan. 6th was an insurrection, it was the most peaceful insurrection in history. The only direct death being an unarmed protester shot by police. How many people were shot by police last summer as courthouses, precincts and, federal courthouses were sieged and set on fire? Zero. All 25 deaths over the summer came from the hands of other civilians. Not police officers.

@donxavier10 ... Trump wasn’t present at the capital. Because when violence began, he was still speaking on the other side of town. And yes, no US politician has been assassinated, that sparked a war. And once again, just because a mob goes into the capital building. It doesn’t make them the leaders of the country. This isn’t a game of king of the hill. Your imagination is running wild. But if 25 people had died and $2 billion in damages had occurred. It would’ve been a mostly peaceful protest, that you would’ve supported. That’s cool.

Have assassinations caused wars? Yes but, not in this country. And this is a perfect example of how you’ve started with a conclusion, then search for evidence to support your claim. This is called confirmation bias. Because I stated there has not been an assassination in this country that started a war. Which is correct. And your ego and emotions won’t allow you to concede one thing to me. You must be right. You won’t allow any possibility of being wrong. So you are redefining the word revolt. What you’re doing is known as the backfire effect, as a result of identity protective cognition.
