This is the kind of individual we end up with when school funding is cut. We need education reform. Even if it's just small and local, it's a start. I urge everyone to start something locally to them. I've started the Darren Snider Project, which is named after someone from my town that was illiterate until the age of 50, and finally received their GED at the age of 60. He often told his story, to make sure no one had to experience a completely uneducated life, void of complex thought. Start something local, even if it's small. Remember, we build a strong house one brick at a time.

@DarrenSnider Huffing paint? You're clearly underage. LMAO

@shondrawhite9317 Well yeah, that's what happens when Fox is the most watched news network by middle age Democrats.

@GoHawgs1987 I like how you confidently pretend your past experience in retail makes you knowledgeable about the food industry. Thank you for the good laugh.
1
@DarrenSnider You're right. Of course selling t-shirts is exactly the same as preparing and serving time sensitive product meant for ingestion. Totally the same. LMAO
1
@DarrenSnider People sure do work both... And they are still different jobs. But hey, at least you got to contribute a useless fact that doesn't prove or disprove anything being discussed.
1
@GoHawgs1987 Do you think there might be a difference in the labor for a 24/7 McDonalds versus a retailer open from 10am-9pm? Do you think there might be a difference in purchasing, storing, and selling a product like a t-shirt versus a product like fish? These are not the same thing. Not even close.
1
@GoHawgs1987 No... you're saying your experience with grass makes you knowledgeable about the sky. Your initial comment was in regard to labor hours in the food industry. Which are vastly different from retail.
1
@DarrenSnider You should google "24/7 McDonalds"... LMAO Your confidence in your ignorance is what makes you so amusing. I truly enjoy your replies.

@danevertt3210 Yes, someone claiming to be knowledgeable about a subject due to their experience with a completely different thing, is a hill I will always die on. This is how misinformation occurs. Why do you want to support misinformation?
1
@GoHawgs1987 Ok, so if you are now shifting your argument to a reliance on part-time employees... How can a high schooler, who by all definitions is a part-time employee, achieve a 40 hour work week? Arguing they are reliant on part-time employees undermines your initial argument based on a full time worker not receiving enough hours.
1
@danevertt3210 So why do think discussing labor hours and wages that impact millions of people is irrelevant? I'm very curious.
1
@GoHawgs1987 You are saying they are both reliant on part-time workers. High schoolers are a perfect example... How is a high schooler suppose to achieve 40 hours, as a part-time employee? It's a simple question, don't keep avoiding it. Substantiate your point. Use your experience from retail work to answer the question.

@colekuczek9812 Please name one economic organization that categorizes grocery with retail... I'll wait.
1
@colekuczek9812 No... The US Government tracks Consumer Package Goods separately. Try again. Maybe you shouldn't argue about this when you've clearly never looked over any macro economic report before.
1
@colekuczek9812 Restaurant jobs are service/hospitality. Selling t-shirts at the mall is a retail job. Someone clearly didn't have to work their way through college. Clearly your privileged life has made you ignorant to reality. How sad.
1
@colekuczek9812 My initial comment in this thread about restaurant versus retail jobs was 4 months ago... You haven't made any arguments, you've just remained on topic. LMAO

How many digits does $39,999.99 have? Does that mean it's more or less than $40,000?
1
@danevertt3210 Says the person doing the exact same thing... LMAO
1
@danevertt3210 Oh sure, if that's what you need to tell yourself to feel better. LMAO
