@MultiBlackmind Was it wrong for Clinton to run for the Presidency in 1992, when he was the governor of Arkansas? Was it wrong for Obama to run for the Presidency in 2008, when he was a Senator? Or is it only wrong when it’s your political opposition?

@stap1er It’s mental gymnastics to read 99.012(3)(a) and comprehend that federal office isn’t included for those “qualifying as a candidate”...? Seems more like basic reading comprehension. Do you struggle with that?

@jnayvann Florida does not have a law preventing that. Florida Statute 99.012 Section (3)(a) which specifically pertains to qualifying as a candidate, does not include federal office. And this was true before this new bill in Florida as well. Look up yourself if your not afraid to be wrong.

@stap1er Umm, I guess you aren’t a lawyer lol... Section (2) is saying you can’t run more than one campaign simultaneously. Notice how it says “as a candidate for more than one”... Now, Desantis is the incumbent governor and not a gubernatorial candidate, therefore section (2) does not apply. Section (3)(a) which pertains to qualifying as a candidate while holding office, does not include federal office. Don’t spread misinformation.
