It’s is true. The numbers look good on paper, but people are not living that reality. Too bad you won’t acknowledge the latter.

I like how you focus on the numbers part, but not the people living life part.

@Republicanismisadisease “Three in five Americans, 61%, say recent price increases have caused financial hardship for their household, marking a six-percentage-point increase from the last reading in November 2022 and the highest since 2021 when Gallup first tracked this measure.” -Gallup May 18, 2023

@ryancallsin Reality would be the fact 3 out of 5 Americans are reporting financial hardships, which has been a steady increase since 2021, accord to Gallup data published May 18.
1
@ryancallsin Notice how I said it’s increased since 2021...? Inflation was at a record low under Trump and record high under Biden. Even the New York Times admits regular Americans got a tax break under Trump. FFS, come up with new rhetoric because reality doesn’t match what you’re saying.

@Roger-hn9zl So you’re saying Gallup is wrong and your anecdotal evidence is correct?
1
@mhmitzee You’re not familiar with who Gallup is... are you?
1
@mhmitzee Well that’s wonderful! Now, did you have a moment to consider how they might “tally those numbers”...? Or did you want to continue to be deliberately obtuse and avert the subject?
1
So you agree that regardless of the numbers. The American people are still feeling a struggle?
1
@jtrain9926 So why has Gallup noticed a consistent increase in financial hardships since 2021?

@@dizbkd5067 Hitting record high inflation isn’t “fixing it”... Just ask Jimmy Carter.

@VP_A-Team Check another economic record off the list for the Biden administration: Consumer Price Index inflation just hit 7.5% for the year ending in January, the highest jump since 1982. Fuel oil? Up 46.5% for the year. Gasoline? 40%. Used cars? 40.5%. New cars? 12.2% Meat, fish, poultry and eggs? 12.2%. Breads and cereals? 6.8%. (New York Post - Feb. 10, 2022)

So you’re fox’s audience? How telling.
1
@cjc2 Why are you obsessed with Fox? It’s very strange.
