And... That's more expensive that it was during Trump's presidency. If it was cheaper, then David would've used that comparison. Instead, you can only compare it to last year, when Biden was the President.

@brandonrathbone3690 I'm not going to bat for anyone. I live in reality. And it's weird that this whole channel wants to make economic comparisons to last year or the year before and pretend like that means we are in a good place.

Why aren't the prices being compared to those during Trump's presidency? Why is the comparison only to last years prices when Biden was the President?

@raydrexler5868 The economy under Trump had historic numbers all the way until January of 2020. He's a buffoon but that's a fact, even if you don't want to accept it. Now, remember when economist warned that the covid policies you wanted would wreck the economy? Well, you voted for those policies anyways. Now we are here. Own your decisions.

@mantispunch You should probably read the New York Times article written by Ben Casselman and Jim Tankersley, published on April 14, 2019. They go into detail about how most American's actually did receive a tax cut from Trump's tax overhaul. They also detail how the tax increase narrative was simply political misinformation from Democrats. The New York Times isn't a pro Trump publication, yet even they admit the truth. It's time for you to accept it too.
