@bigwill-gc7su ... no no no. Dems only want court packing if their tribe wins... they are not in favor of the root idea behind packing the courts, they are only in favor of seeing their side in power.

Trump will win. The mainstream media isn’t allowing that cash cow to go anywhere any time soon.
2
Unfortunately, we have no clue what the Harris/Biden campaign’s plan to fix things will be. I guess we have to vote to find out!! How exciting!
2
As a voter, I don’t deserve to know if they will pack the courts. As Biden recently stated.
2
The real conversation should be Biden stating that as a voter, you don’t deserve to know whether they will pack the courts or not. Keep in mind, Democrat Harry Reid set the precedence for McConnell. Do you want to keep setting new precedence, that republicans will exploit their next opportunity in office?..
2
Yes. Our side would be at a disadvantage in the courts. So to favor our tribe over theirs, we need more people in the courts. I don’t actually think there will be a benefit to more justices, I just think my opinions are the correct one, so I want to see my side with more power. Regardless of the fact in 10-20 years we could have another conservative majority, except with more justices. In which case, we will have to continuously add to the court in order to get our way.

@MrSitemaster2 ... RBG should’ve retired under Obama/Reid if ensuring succession of a democrat favored Justice was so imperative. She didn’t. She risked it, and the seat was lost. That’s just how this works. Suck it up. And move on.
2
@MrSitemaster2 ... yes, to change precedence for the sake of temporary opportunity. Isn’t that exactly how Harry Reid started this whole mess? Setting the nuclear option precedence for McConnell.
2
@MrSitemaster2 ... True or False? Harry Reid, in 2013 before McConnell was Senate Majority Leader, used the nuclear option to eliminate the 60-vote rule for executive nominations and federal judicial appointments. Which McConnell then extended to the Supreme Court. Republicans changed what rules? What rule states the senate is obligated to confirm a president’s nomination?...
2
We don’t know. Because according to Biden, as a voter, we don’t deserve to know. How fantastic!
2
@jesustoldyoutogiveallyourm4880 .... thankfully Biden gave us a reasonable answer, that as voters, we don’t deserve to know what they will do.
1
@jesustoldyoutogiveallyourm4880 ... yeah... because he’s totally running for President opposite of Biden... but hey, whoever said you can’t compare apples to oranges? They were crazy. You go right ahead!
1
Well you can thank the precedence set by democrat Harry Reid... but that would require you to actually admit that a democrat did something damaging to the country. It’s amazing how many things people blame Trump for, I guess the government didn’t exist before 2016.
1
Keeping what on the down low? The Harris/Biden Campaign won’t give a direct answer yes or no. And Biden himself said, as a voter you don’t deserve to know what he will do. How exciting!! It’s like a prize in a Cracker Jack box, except with political power.
1
Are you as excited as I am to support the “vote to find out” campaign as I am? Isn’t it exciting knowing Biden said, as voters, we don’t deserve to know if he will pack the courts or not.
1
Well according to Biden, as a voter, you don’t deserve to know what he will do.

So just like BLM. Soften the language to persuade individuals to support a more radical ideology. I see someone is a big fan of Alinsky!
1
Average Warrior ... it’s radical because it’s not about reforming the police. It’s about defunding the police. I agree police brutality needs to be addressed. But you address that through a more difficult selection process and more classroom education. Both of which require more funding, not less. For example, a Navy SEAL is far less likely to be involved in a friendly fire incident than a basic infantryman. Which soldier cost the government more to produce?
1
Average Warrior ... the BLM movement looks good on the surface, and the surface level ideology is sound. But when you look inside the organization and what they really support, you see they are fighting fires with gasoline.
1
@MrSitemaster2 ... they didn’t create a rule. However, their final “ruling” during the confirmation portion of the appointment process, was that a republican lead senate would not confirm a democrat president’s nomination that close to an election. Do we have a split government between the President and Senate in this current situation?... “Ruling” is making a decision. There are no “rules” in government. There are laws. And there was no law created and then abolished as you are suggesting.
1
I ageee. We should definitely have an even number of justices for what will arguably be the most contested election in the history of our country. I can’t wait for Trump to fight the results of the election in the Supreme Court and it end in a 4-4 decision.
1
@thunderbird3694 ... packing the courts, is specifically referring to adding seats. So Trump hasn’t packed the courts at all... maybe that’s why Trump “never told you that He was going to pack the court”. And you’re still on that old Fascist trope? That’s cute. I would’ve assumed you would’ve read the definition of fascism at some point in the past four years.
