  4. What’s more xenophobic or racist? A) The virus accidentally leaked from a Chinese lab, were cutting edge research was taking place. B) The virus originated in a Chinese wet market, where the population shops for food while disregarding common health standards.

However, it’s very xenophobic to say a specific culture’s dietary standards caused a pandemic. No assumptions required. The statement and idea on its own is xenophobic. And you’re correct, COVID-19 is the name of the disease... but it’s still not the name of the virus. Come on buddy, more critical thinking, less tribalism.

  10. 400k US deaths reported on Jan. 20, 2021. We’ve now reached another 200k under the Biden administration. In less than half the time I took us to reach 400k. Biden, with a vaccine, has done a worse job.
