  1. The bill states a ban on “military style weapons”? I’m not sure what ambiguous category of firearms that is. I’m sure just like previous AWB, it will be a purely cosmetic ban. That doesn’t accomplish anything. Other than give you warm and fuzzy feelings until the next mass shooting.

A very common choice in the water fowl hunting community. It has the same mechanical functionally of what you’d like to ban. It just doesn’t look scary. An AWB is purely cosmetic and a joke.

  3. Take the gun purchasing laws you want and, also apply them to registering to vote. Every member of the GOP would take that deal tomorrow. But you’re not interesting in treating constitutional rights with equality.

Adding bureaucratic red tape, fees, permits, licenses, IDs and, classes for someone to exercise a constitutional right. But it’s ok.   6. Clearly you don’t understand the concept of concealed carry. The goal is you NEVER have to use it. It is a last line of personal defense in the event your life is threatened. So yes, hopefully they use it less than a microwave or lawn mower.

  9. It’s sad you want to push for legislation based on ignorance of a subject. What you call an “assault weapon” is not a military grade rifle. They have distinct mechanical differences. There is no mechanical distinction with an “assault weapon” and a semi-automatic shotgun.

  19.  @vanessamaldonado5877 ... A cisgender individual “identifies” as their “birth gender”. A trans person “identifies” as a gender in contrast to their “birth gender”. Gender dysphoria would be the psychological term for the cognitive disconnect the individual has in relation to their biology. And this term of gender dysphoria, while being a medical term, hurts peoples feelings and has been removed from most modern psychology literature on the issue. Now, will you take time to learn about the subject of firearms before parroting a narrative?

  20. Negative. The constitution gives us the ability to have them. The federal government is subject to the bill of rights. These ten amendments specifically limit the power the government. Power given to the government with the constitution. The constitution itself, is simply a binding document between the states to establish a federal government. One could say it is what united the states of America, hence the name.
