  34. The house is part of the Legislative Branch, not the Executive Branch. So they write the laws, they do not enforce them. Clearly, you don't understand the three branches of government and their roles.

  35.  @joanwho666  Impeachment is part of the Checks and Balances between the branches of government, that's written into the constitution. The Legislative branch holds the Executive branch responsible for their actions. That has absolutely nothing to do with how the government can hold their own citizens responsible for their actions. The existence of Check and Balances does not change the role of the branches of government. The Legislative branch writes the laws and, the Executive branch enforces the laws.

The Department of Justice is part of the Executive Branch. The Attorney General is a Presidential Cabinet position. The Executive Branch chooses who to prosecute, and they choose who to pardon.
