Meanwhile, Pelosi hedged her financial portfolio to suit the economic situation she was creating. To further break down the math... total stimulus checks came to $3,200. Our current inflation rate is 7.7%. At that rate, if you make $42,000, your income is worth over $3,200 less in spending power. This has been a losing deal for everyday Americans.
