@cindyp9 Thank you for showing your lack of understanding of how our government functions. The DOJ is part of the executive branch, the head of the DOJ is the Attorney General, a Cabinet level position, and handpicked by the President.

The Attorney General is the head of the Justice Department, which is the Department responsible for all Federal prosecutions. The Attorney General is a Cabinet level position, handpicked by the President himself. The Attorney General serves at the behest of the President. Did I get anything wrong? @johnmatthews3427 The Attorney General is a Cabinet position, unique to each President. Biden picked his current Attorney General, just like he picked his entire cabinet when he entered office, just like every President does when they enter office. How do you not know how our government functions?
