Oh they know. You want to pretend they don’t, but they do.

What were your thoughts after reading Gender Queer? The controversial book that’s available in some public school libraries.

@scottb6124 Did you miss the part where I agreed with the OP? Is reading hard for you?
3
Yup. Just like this channel and it’s ideals.
2
So when you are mocked for your ideals, does it make you question them?
2
@Junksaint So what ideals of yours have changed as a result of right wing trolls mocking you?
2
So when the right says you’re indoctrinating their kids in schools. How is the right guilty of this? Are the examples given by David occurring in school? Or is this just another false equivalency?
2
@Zer0.-_ Oh. I’m sure she did come to her own conclusions. But an adult decided it would be best to then put her in front of a camera... aka a political prop.
2
@keng4847 Hahahaha. Oh no, those kids all have their own opinions. The political prop aspect comes in when CNN gives them a platform because their rhetoric fits the preferred ideological narrative. Now make some new assumptions about me and come to new incorrect conclusions. This is fun!
2
Dan Reiser Aww. What’s wrong with my profile picture?
2
@joenarbaiz1640 Oh no, I fully expected this kind of defensive reaction from a cult. I’m just trying to understand their “I know you are but what am I” retort. Given that I agreed with the OP, it doesn’t seem to make any sense.
1
Cool. So when do these things occur in public schools?
1
@elijahofmalachi45-6firebal9 Cool story. Why do you think I care? Are you making assumptions based in tribalism again?
1
@MrMeow-iq7kq Well, the right wing talking point is that the left is indoctrinating kids in school. So I’m just trying to understand your comparison to the right wing talking points. Or is this just another example of false equivalency?
1
@elijahofmalachi45-6firebal9 I’m assuming you decided to arbitrarily reference the Bible, completely out of context of the conversation here, because you assumed it would upset me? I’m not sure why else you’d make such a random comment. But hey, I hope you and your Bible buddies enjoy your boners. It doesn’t bother me any.
1
@tmcd5049 Hey buddy. Read my comment again. I didn’t say the left indoctrinated kids in school. I said that’s the right wing talking point. Which is true, the right does make those claims. Take your tribalism somewhere else. I’m not interested in it.
1
@ararepotato1420 Hmm. So which of these things is a republican political policy, which indoctrinates kids into that political ideology? If the pledge of allegiance made everyone republican, why is Biden a Democrat? This has been said in school for decades, but now you tie it to a political party? Patriotism is a republican political ideal? So only republicans celebrate July 4th?... Come on, your grasping for straws with these “examples”. These are not political ideals indoctrinating kids. These are just things you hate. I’m sorry you misunderstand the difference.
1
@35mm21 Yes. That’s correct. And using minors such as Greta Thunberg or Kyle Rittenhouse because they fit the preferred narrative of the network they’re appearing on is disgusting. They’re minors being used as political props.
1
Is it occurring in public schools?
1
@d33j4ybf Well, isn’t the right wing talking point that the left is indoctrinating kids in school?...
1
@Wastingsometimehere You guess that home school is public school? Really?
