@jim7644 Do you want to keep pretending the Real ID Act isn’t a thing and, we haven’t already nationalized ID standards. The same one you use to get get on a plane or, use to sign up for welfare, can be used to vote. And once again, in Georgia specifically, there is a free ID offered specifically for voting. Thank you for bringing up these concerns, however they aren’t issues anymore.

@jim7644 Was the Real ID Act implemented when this occurred? No, it was not. States have been given time to get up to speed. We are just now entering a period where it’s coming in to play. And I really hope you’re aware that the North Carolina law you’re referring to, was overturned on the premise of early voting hours being altered to affect working class voters. Not on the premise of ID’s are racist. And this law’s time in the court has been purely partisan. A conservative circuit judge upheld the law. And a liberal appellate judge overturned it. FFS... this is your best argument?

@dsp6373 Are you really proclaiming that when the virus “runs rampant” the IFR (Infection Fatality Rate) increases? If that’s the case, this is a first in pathology. An IFR is the exact same, regardless of it being a population of 10,000 infected or 1,000,000 infected, this is what makes it an IFR. However, when a lethal virus runs rampant through a population filled with heart disease, obesity and, elderly people, this can certainly increase the localized IFR. Second, you’re speculating on possible future issues, from contracting covid. This is a novel virus. We have zero idea of what the long term effects will or won’t be. And to sit here and proclaim it as if it’s fact, is purely disingenuous to the argument. The exact same possible future issues can be said about vaccinations. Unless you have a crystal ball, let’s leave speculation out of the argument.

@dsp6373 Well, 88% of people that needed a ventilator, still died. This would mean hospitals have “artificially lowered” the IFR by 0.25%. If the “rampant” IFR was 2.25%, and hospitals were able to save 12% of critical patients. This would yield us an “artificial” IFR of 2%. I’m very sorry the math doesn’t fit your narrative of some 50% increase in the IFR.

@dsp6373 And the current worldwide IFR is still sitting at 2.1%, versus the current US IFR of 1.8%. This is still a difference of tenths of a percent. These are not wild swings in IFR. So please, stop pretending like all the anti-vax conservatives are going to die off in mass. This is simply an ignorant thing to even suggest. You’re clearly a very intelligent person, don’t parrot nonsense.

Will being unvaccinated make them suddenly live in whatever country you pick? Or will unvaccinated people in the US be subjected to the US’s IFR? At this point, you’re arguing for the sake of arguing. Now writing entire paragraphs about wealth. You got called out for your anti vax hyperbole. Now it’s time to move on buddy.

Biden voted for the Defense of Marriage Act in 1996, blocking federal recognition of same-sex marriages. Two years earlier, he voted to cut off federal funds to schools that teach the acceptance of homosexuality. In 1973, Biden, in an off-handed response to a question, wondered if homosexuals in the military or government were potential security risks. And what does he say now?...

Georgia law (O.C.G.A § 21-2-417) requires Georgia residents to show photo identification when voting in person. If you have questions, need more information or have difficulty getting a free Voter Identification Card, you can contact your county registrar’s office or the Secretary of State’s Elections Division Do you want to keep pretending Georgia doesn’t offer a free ID to vote, for the sake of your tribal narrative? And given that the requirements to vote are being a citizen, at least 18 years of age and, typically a resident of where you’re voting. How would you suggest we verify these things, before allowing someone to cast a ballot? Too bad the government doesn’t issue some type of card, that we all carry, that gives this necessary info...
