Out of curiosity, when a drunk driver kills someone, do you blame the driver or the car? Should we take away your ability to have a car, because someone else killed someone while drunk?

Name a “common sense” gun law you’d like to see in place. Then, I’ll tell you how you don’t understand what you’re talking about. As you try to regulate a topic you know absolutely nothing about.

@dmike3507 Have you ever purchased a firearm from a licensed dealer, at either a gun store or gun show? Clearly the answer is no, otherwise you’d realize there is already a background check requirement by any FFL dealer. Which would be any gun store or gun show. Congratulations, you don’t understand what you’re talking about, just as I predicted.

It’s also weird that a murder-suicide is being considered a mass shooting... But I’m glad we could establish the Wikipedia numbers and likely David’s numbers are not accurate, as instances like this are incorrectly included.

Columbine happened during the Clinton weapons ban...

@nicholashall4625 So now imagine hearing someone say you shouldn’t be allowed to own a gun, then those same people say the police shouldn’t exist. That’s the left in the US...
1
Hmm. Were there any neighborhoods or areas in LA, more prone to gun violence?
1
So only the ruling class should have weapons?... Because that’s always gone soooo well in human history.
1
@lichtloper It’s not twisting words... “should be restricted to those people who have been lawfully appointed to enforce the law” That’s what you said. Don’t back away from your ideals now. You want only those in power to have weapons. Which historically, never goes well.
1
Yup! Let’s blame a nearly 250 year old constitutional amendment for a modern problem... Guns have exist longer that you or I, yet this is a modern problem. It’s not the guns or the laws that’s killing people.
1
Why do I NEED to own one?... Well that’s an easy question. I NEED to own one, because Trump exists and wants to be a dictator.
1
What gun can you purchase that “can fire several hundred rounds per minute” without owning a Class 3 Federal Firearms License?... You have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about here, yet you’re saying it with so much confidence.
1
You are many times more likely to die in a car accident in America than from any type of gun violence. Yet, you’re more fearful of guns than cars. Astounding.
1
@aaronhumphrey3514 That analogy does work, because with drunk driving, we view it as someone deliberately making a bad decision lacking regard to public safety. This is why it’s a crime. So once again, do you think someone else’s poor decision making and lack of regard for human life should impede your ability to own a car?
1
So by your logic of regulating the object rather than the person... let’s also outlaw cars, because drunk people have too easy of access to cars and they can kill people.
