Clearly the answer is no, otherwise you’d realize there is already a background check requirement by any FFL dealer. Which would be any gun store or gun show.   14.  @aaronhumphrey3514  That analogy does work, because with drunk driving, we view it as someone deliberately making a bad decision lacking regard to public safety. This is why it’s a crime. So once again, do you think someone else’s poor decision making and lack of regard for human life should impede your ability to own a car?
