If you want a healthy leg amputated to feel happier about yourself, that's mutilation. See how these are different issues with the same "treatment"...? Or are you saying it's hypocrisy because they are the same issue?

@Starhawke_Gaming Incorrect. One is delaying puberty so it begins in the normal biological window. The other is delaying puberty that is already occurring in the normal biological window. These are not the same thing. One is an endocrine issue; one is a mental health issue. One is about normal biological function; one is about someone's feelings. Now the true asinine aspect of this "treatment" is that confused children are delayed the part of life that helps them better understand who they are.

To say a child that is confused about their identity, should delay the very part of human development that helps you identify who you are, is beyond any amount on sensible logic. Using pharmaceuticals to delay puberty until someone "feels" ready for puberty is not the intended use of these pharmaceuticals. They are intended to correct a precocious puberty, not to induce a delayed puberty.

@Starhawke_Gaming The physical results and side effects are not the same. One is precocious puberty impeded to induce a normal puberty. The other is a normal puberty impeded to induce a delayed puberty. A delayed puberty has it's own set of side effects and developmental issues. Inducing these medical issues for the sake of "feelings" is the issue. Furthermore, saying a child that is confused about their identity should delay the very part of human development that helps us identify who we are, is beyond any amount of sensible logic.

@Starhawke_Gaming Correct, in all prepubescent children, there is no discernable physical variation between the two sexes/genders. If a 5 year old takes this pharmaceutical until they are 10, versus a 10 year old takes it until they are 15. There will be a drastic difference in the effects and physical development. Delay Puberty is it's own medical condition that people suffer from, and prescribing this pharmaceutical in this way induces this medical condition for the sake of feelings. Sex/Gender is not a choice that any mammal gets to make. Humans are mammals. This is not a choice. We live in an unchangeable sexual binary for reproductive purposes.

That was the case for you, me, and every human to have existed. The effects cannot be the same. An early development child will take this pharmaceutical to induce a normally timed development. What you are talking about is a normal timed development child purposefully inducing a delayed development, which is it's own medical condition with it's own unique effects. Lastly, the timing of development and the type of development is not something humans get to choose. All mammals, including humans, exist in an unchangeable binary for biological multiplication of the species.

@Starhawke_Gaming What you are calling a "late bloomer" is in fact a medical condition. It's a medical condition with life long effects. And you are arguing that we should induce this medical condition for the sake of feelings. This is a pharmaceutical designed to correct a medical condition, not induce a medical condition. This is why I argue that these two examples do not utilize this pharmaceutical in the same way, because one is correcting a physical condition, and one is inducing a physical condition. No, as humans we do not get to choose the type and time of our development. This lack of choice is precisely why the pharmaceuticals are desired. We also live in a time where we can use pharmaceuticals to change the color of our skin, but we don't say we get to choose our race. It is not my "outlook" on life. It's just the biological reality we live in. Our purpose is to biologically multiply the species. And it is true some people cannot, but they physically have a medical condition that prevents it. And it's considered a medical condition precisely because it falls outside the biological nature of our species. Lastly, none of what I'm saying is based on couples having more kids. Personally, I don't care what happens to our species. But everything I'm saying is simply based on biological reality. The same reality every other species exists in.

If you walk into an ER with those types of thoughts, you will be placed into a psychiatric facility and not allowed to make your own decisions until medical professionals can make a diagnosis. So please, tell me who expanded it to K-12... since you're so concerned with the opinion of professional educators. And again, this is about classroom instruction. How is "kids with gay parents having their parents come in for parents day" classroom instruction? I had a parent come in for parent career day once, for students to learn about various careers. Is being gay a career? This bill is about classroom instruction. You may have read the bill, but you are not comprehending it.

On Wednesday, March 15, 2023, Desantis signed two bills, neither about this topic. Now, on Wednesday May 17th, not March, Desantis signed four bills SB 1690, SB 1210, SB 7064, and HB 1465. And again, none of these bills are on this topic. Please tell me the Bill Number for this K-12 expansion that you claim Desantis signed... Good job, you just posted multiple comments all based on misinformation because you're too lazy to actually fact check. But thank you for citing an article that spreads false information and fear, as I previously said occurs. SB 1210 is about Public Records. HB 1465 is about firearms.
