  1. The one remaining virtue of Starbucks if you can call it that, is the middle-class mom demographic can go in there and get a 3000-calorie drink and it's OK because it's coffee, it's good for your heart!

  2. Their coffee is awful. If they have wifi it's slow as hell. And for "ambiance", well, these days it means the homeless hanging out and stinking up the place, noisy students, the right-wing conspiracy guy sitting in the corner on his laptop giving off an aura that he's about to shoot up the place, and some Karen demanding to see the manager.
