  1. Tech jobs are pretty close to gone in the US esp. in anything hardware. In software, you're good from when you graduate college to age 40 then you'd better have the eyesight to drive a truck. So you've got, if you do everything exactly right and have a supportive family, 18 years to pay off your college loans and make anything beyond mere survival-money to sock away for the future. And chances are, you're not going to realize this. So if you're very, very lucky, you get to work as a janitor.
