This is certainly going on in the US. I listen to National Public Radio and their latest pledge drive didn't go well. They didn't make their minimum and are extending their asking for money period. It feels like it's 2008 again. Everyone's supposed to go out and spend money in restaurants but cooking at home is so much cheaper and better, so I'm doing that and tons of others are all. And the car ads! I'm really not doing my part by not owning a car. To live in the US is to get bombarded by ads for cars, geez half the price of a car must be the advertising cost. So, China has Westernized and has decided to be joined at the hip with the Western economy, they're going to have a hard time too.
