  1. In the US, college only makes sense if you come from enough wealth that it doesn't matter if you go to college. For 99% of us, college doesn't make you any more money over your lifetime, you end up with non-dischargable debt, and there's a huge chance you'll end up working in a field that doesn't use your degree at all. It's a huge scam and I'm very happy to see colleges closing.
