Ukraine got dozens of modernized Polish and Slovak MiG 29s. Almost all were lost. Ukraine can't even secure its airfields. Russians routinely destroy remaining Ukrainian jets (mostly former Polish ones) on the ground and in the air. You can read interview of top Ukrainian general Syrsky to the Guardian where he said that it would be impossible to use F-16s closer than 40 kilometers from the frontline, his predecessor Zaluzny in his interview to the Economist was far more pessimistic. According to him Russians were easily downing Ukrainian jets even near Dnieper city (whopping 140 miles from the front).

Keeping Zelensky on his toes with random errands works great for this, since the more he's running, ranting, raging around, the crazier he looks and sounds. When they manage to escape to Russians they willingly provide them with intelligence on Ukrainian positions, ammo depots etc. They consider Zelenskyy a tormentor and a war criminal. Hundreds of people are captured every day trying to escape Zelenskyy concentration camp, nobody knows how many manage to get through. Only today one desperate man was killed on the border by Zelenskyy thugs and another wounded. It reminds the last days of Hitler's regime.
