Most trained and motivated Ukrainian soldiers are populating endless cemeteries across Ukraine, decomposing on the spot where they perished or trying to survive after being crippled. Seasoned officers were replaced by politically convenient figures from sunni tribes with dubious loyalty that could be bought and sold. The West also doesn't have an industrial base to sustain this industrial war. You simply can't print artillery shells.
