Yeah, unconditional surrender is the only practical solution for Ukraine at this point. Hitler's Germany also refused to admit defeat until Hitler killed himself, then Keitel signed unconditional surrender. Post war settlement is Russia's business.

With a catastrophic situation on the front there is an infighting between different factions of the regime . 1. The West simply doesn't have an industrial base to sustain this industrial war. You simply can't print artillery shells. All efforts to increase production just led to the price of a shell skyrocketing. "In October, NATO’s senior military officer, Adm. Rob Bauer, said that the price for one 155mm shell had risen from 2,000 euros ($2,171) at the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion to 8,000 euros ($8,489.60)." 2. Ukrainian commanders were obviously promoted just on ideological grounds and showed gross incompetence in this war. They are highly susceptible to political meddling and simply can't say NO to delusional Zelenskyy. 3. Western military advisers have the same problem of a negative selection on ideological grounds plus complete absence of experience of fighting an industrial war. 4. The result is an epic unmitigated disaster. Hundreds of thousands of hapless Ukrainian conscripts kidnapped off the streets are slaughtered without any plan or strategy. It's simply unsustainable. 5. At this point unconditional surrender is the only practical solution for Ukraine. Hitler's Germany also refused to admit defeat until Hitler killed himself, then Keitel signed unconditional surrender.

"Kursk operation is one of the biggest Ukrainian victories." Zelenskyy. If this unmitigated disaster for Ukraine is "one of the biggest Ukrainian victories", it's even scary to imagine how Ukrainian defeats look like.

Yeah, capturing at such a staggering cost a string of villages in the middle of nowhere that can't be held makes zero military sense. Doing that when a vital logistic hub of your army like Pokrovsk is about to fall is making Zelenskyy the top candidate for Darwin Award in this century. Zelenskyy Kursk misadventure already failed spectacularly, but due to his obsession with media hype he is simply incapable even to cut snowballing losses and as always he is just reinforcing the failure. It's the same nutty pattern as was with Bakhmut, Krinky or a publicly announced failed Zelenskyy offensive in 2023 . Zelenskyy is the gift that keeps on giving to the Russians advised by even nuttier DC gifts.
347
Never interrupt an enemy making a mistake. Nervous Pavlov reaction to Zelenskyy Kursk misadventure would show Russian weakness, but here Russians showed maturity, good judgment and willingness to exploit enemy's mistakes. Zelenskyy already wasted 12,000 troops and tons of equipment that could have been used at a vital Donbass front that is rapidly crumbling. Now he's losing these villages in the middle of nowhere, he managed to capture at such a staggering cost. This misadventure proved to be another unmitigated disaster for Ukraine.

Zelenskyy is running out of cannon fodder. He fired his top general ( who paid at least lip service to common sense) and replaced him with his minion (Politico quotes Ukrainian soldiers calling him a butcher in an article "Zaluzhny is out, the ‘butcher’ is in") that wasted lives of close to 100 000 Ukrainian troops trying to hold Bakhmut when all escape routes were under Russian fire control and then launching wave after wave of suicidal counterattacks for months trying and failing to recapture the city. Even NYT noticed in desperation: "Bakhmut has become something of an obsession for Mr. Zelensky and his military leaders." Western allies are running out of ammo. Zelenskyy offensive proved to be an epic unmitigated disaster. Russians rejected any freeze of the conflict. Putin spokesperson said quite bluntly that all Russian goals had to be met (denazification, demilitarization and a neutral status of Ukraine). At this point unconditional surrender is the only practical solution for Ukraine. Hitler's Germany also refused to admit defeat until Hitler killed himself, then Keitel signed unconditional surrender.
281
The war is lost by Ukraine. Before the latest offensive that proved to be an epic unmitigated disaster Zaluzhny said in The Economist interview: "I need 300 tanks, 600-700 ifvs, 500 Howitzers. Then, I think it is completely realistic to get to the lines of February 23rd. " He got what he was begging for, lost it along with 90 000 of hapless Ukrainian cannon fodder and there is nothing to show for it.

Yeah, Zelenskyy actually produced video evidence this time. It's either a video of a bigfoot or NK troops.🤣🤣🤣 I strongly suggest that he should place bigfoot, the ghost of Kiev and NK troops in one video for even greater plausibility next time.😂😂😂

Well, it's a quote from The Time article. Zelenskyy top advisers say about him: “He deludes himself, ” one of his closest aides tells me in frustration. “We’re out of options. We’re not winning. But try telling him that. It is immovable, verging on the messianic. ” One Austrian artist was in a similar state in 1945. In fact Biden administration doesn't see Ukraine beyond a spring next year. It already appointed a team to prepare a deployment of American troops to Poland that would "prevent" Russian invasion into NATO. Of course these are just political games and nobody believes that Russians have such intentions. It's all about creating narrative not reality.
191
Yeah, The Economist: "Russia’s double-punch back against Ukraine’s shock raid. It is bombing Ukrainians in Kursk and advancing in Pokrovsk." What could possibly go wrong?
166
Yeah, ISW stated quite authoritatively that Vugledar lost its strategic importance tonight and the same fate awaits Pokrovsk, Dnipro, Kiev and Lviv.
159
Zelenskyy Kursk misadventure ground to a screeching halt and caused staggering Ukrainian losses (as expected Ukrainian troops are completely exposed to Russian air-strikes and drone-strikes outside of defensive positions), but Ukrainians are stuck. Erratic Zelenskyy is obsessed with media hype, his DC handlers are obsessed with Kamala campaign and Syrsky is obsessed with his career (keeping his position even for one more week is more important for him than lives of all Ukrainian soldiers put together). All of them are just reinforcing the failure as they did in Bakhmut, Krinki or a publicly announced failed Zelenskyy offensive in 2023. Meanwhile vital Ukrainian positions at the actual front where the war is decided are crumbling.
154
ISW stated quite authoritatively that Toretsk lost its strategic significance tonight and the same fate awaits Pokrovsk, Dnipro, Odessa, Kiev and Lviv.

Russian objective is to force erratic Zelenskyy (the Economist described Zelenskyy literally screaming at his generals nowadays) to shuffle his remaining reserves (most of them exist only on paper at this point) to try to plug numerous holes. These senseless Zelenskyy actions will only increase the number of holes and precipitate Zelenskyy regime demise.
128
Zelenskyy Kursk misadventure already failed. Zelenskyy had a pipe dream to capture Kursk NPP. Capturing at such a staggering cost a string of villages in the middle of nowhere that can't be held makes zero military sense. Zelenskyy wasted so far 2,300 troops KIA, 279 armored vehicles, 15 artillery systems, 4 anti-aircraft systems on this another costly PR misadventure while vital Ukrainian positions at the actual front are crumbling. It's the same nutty pattern as was with Bakhmut, Krinky or a publicly announced failed Zelenskyy offensive in 2023. Zelenskyy is the gift that keeps on giving to the Russians advised by even nuttier DC gifts.

You are wrong. Russians didn't stop using precision glide bombs in Kherson area and air-to-air missiles have much bigger range than glide bombs, so they are even safer to use in this area. Russians lost only two SU34s in that rare ambush last week. Ukraine lost last week 3 SU27s, 1 SU 24 and 1 MIG 29 + 2 SU24s in a recent incident. MIG29 was lost in an incident with a friendly fire. For Russians it's an extremely rare incident that was connected with the use of NATO AWACS from outside Ukraine, for Ukraine such losses are just a routine. Those two SU24s and their crews were sacrificed in this latest attack, due to missiles range limit it was a suicide mission.
93
Yeah, the idea that hapless cannon fodder kidnapped off the streets by Zelenskyy thugs with zero motivation to die for him will hold the front was ludicrous from the get go.
89
Russian MOD is too modest. Zelenskyy himself (he is such a big mouth) in his press-conference said that his military demanded from him mobilization of next 500 000. It's another confirmation that 500 000 Ukrainian soldiers were killed or mangled and crippled for life to the extent that even Zelenskyy couldn't send them back to the front (i.e. amputees without two or more limbs, blind etc.). In fact Zelenskyy is running out of cannon fodder. There are simply no next 500 000 to kidnap off the streets, gyms and public transport. NYT wrote about these mass kidnappings that were happening only in Zelenskyy Ukraine and Hitler's Germany in 1945 in an article ‘People Snatchers’.
86
Obsessed with PR and media hype Zelenskyy is in DC, so hapless Ukrainian cannon fodder in Vuhledar is doomed. As usual officers already left Vuhledar leaving hapless cannon fodder behind. With such staggering rate of losses, Zelenskyy thugs are struggling to kidnap off the streets enough even for simple replacement, to say nothing about the quality and motivation of this hapless cannon fodder.
81
Zelenskyy thugs have the capacity to kidnap a certain number of hapless cannon fodder off the streets and not more. It's 25,000 a month at this point. Twice as much troops are killed, wounded or desert every single month. 18 year-olds are also being kidnapped and beaten up until they "volunteer". Changing the law in the lawless place like Ukraine changes absolutely nothing.
71
in reality it was Ukrainian missile fired from the direction of the territory controlled by Ukraine (CCTV video showed it) . Similar provocation happened last year when Zelenskyy regime fired a missile Tochka-U at a railway station in Kramatorsk killing 47 civilians. Italian journalists photographed a serial number of the missile and it was established beyond a reasonable doubt that it was a job of Zelenskyy regime .
71
Zelenskyy was in Washington cup in hand so he had to say something. His recent story that he will take Bakhmut and two unnamed cities by the end of the year.😂 Even NYT noticed in desperation: "Some American officials say the fight in Bakhmut has become something of an obsession for Mr. Zelensky and his military leaders." Bakhmut was a slaughter which was entirely Zelenskyy folly as Stalingrad was entirely Hitler's folly. Zelenskyy just for media hype wasted on average 500 troops daily (total tally was at least 51 000 KIA) in Bakhmut meat grinder even when all escape routes came under Russian fire control and this debacle turned into a sheer slaughter of Ukrainian troops. But obsessed with Bakhmut Zelenskyy didn't stop even at that. Since May 20 when Russians took Bakhmut General Syrsky (Zelenskyy minion) launched wave after wave of suicidal counterattacks failing to retake a single village near Bakhmut (parts of villages Andriivka and Kleshiivka are still controlled by Russians and it's driving Zelenskyy nuts) while wasting thousands upon thousands of hapless Ukrainian conscripts . This ongoing obsessive lunacy that makes zero military sense is simply astounding. With this lunatic behavior Zelenskyy regime will likely crumble by the end of the year.
70
Zelenskyy wouldn't be Zelenskyy, if he didn't reinforce failure. He already wasted 47,000 of his remaining troops on this misadventure that failed in the first days when it became clear that NPP was out of reach. When the regime is reduced to mass kidnappings off the streets of hapless cannon fodder, it can last only several months not years. It's a cumulative effect of an attrition strategy implemented by Russians. For a long time it seems nothing changes on the map, but then we see rapid collapse. "The main object of operations should not be the territory, but the enemy's army. If the army runs out, the territory will come by itself. " Helmut von Moltke Senior. This war proved once more that old Moltke was right. Zelenskyy troops in Pokrovsk area (Pokrovsk is a key logistical hub that Zelenskyy is about to lose) and further South mostly consist of hapless cannon fodder kidnapped off the streets. They are totally disorganized and demoralized. I don't see Ukraine beyond spring 2025.
68
All Russian jets returned to their bases safely.
68
Ukrainians didn't enter Korenevo (those who entered are no longer with us). Martynovka is under Russian control. Vishnevka is under Ukrainain control, but it doesn't give Ukrainians any advantage and only stretches their forces .
65
Russians still control part of this tiny hamlet Robotyne and it's driving Zelenskyy nuts. He can't take this tiny hamlet about 5 miles away from Ukrainian controlled Orekhov since June 4 and the first main line of Russain defense is still 9 miles away from Robotyne.🤣 Ukrainian army in its current dismal state proved to be completely impotent. In fact the situation is so catastrophic that Zelenskyy even banned highly pro-Ukrainian western media to come anywhere near the frontline . Some Ukrainian soldiers on condition of anonymity were too candid with western reporters in describing Zelenskyy's mass slaughter of hapless Ukrainian conscripts. For example, NYT is quoting wounded Ukrainian soldier as saying: “We were shot like on a shooting range.” According to his fellow soldier “his battalion had suffered so many dead and wounded that only 10 men remained at the front line”. WaPo is reporting that yet another Zelenskyy debacle caused bitter recriminations on Capitol Hill: "The bleak outlook, briefed to some Republicans and Democrats on Capitol Hill, has already prompted a blame game inside closed-door meetings". Obsessed with deadlines Zelenskyy firmly made up his mind to take Robotyne at all cost by August 24, but even here he failed miserably. According to NYT, it was too much even for outgoing general Milley and he ordered Zaluzhny to finally stop this obsessive Zelenskyy Bakhmut lunacy and concentrate all remaining forces on the South instead (Since May 20 when Russians took Bakhmut General Syrsky (Zelenskyy minion) launched wave after wave of suicidal counterattacks failing to retake a single village near Bakhmut while wasting thousands upon thousands of hapless Ukrainian conscripts).
59
Ukraine can't win this war and never could. No wonder weapon will save Zelenskyy hide as no wonder weapon saved Hitler's hide. Russians are fighting a war of attrition. It's not about getting more territory. It's about decimating Ukrainian army. In latest offensive that proved to be an epic unmitigated disaster Ukrainian army showed itself completely impotent. This impotence is the result of a successful implementation of this attrition strategy. According to Ukrainian soldiers interviewed by BBC Russians now have advantage in artillery 1:10. Russians use more than 100 precision glide bombs every single day and Ukrainian army has zero defense against them. Meanwhile Zelenskyy is running out of cannon fodder. He is forced conscripting even amputees, HIV positive and people with hepatitis. It's a sign of utter desperation and hysteria . At this point unconditional surrender is the only practical solution for Ukraine. Hitler's Germany also refused to admit defeat until Hitler killed himself, then Keitel signed unconditional surrender.
59
All roads to this deadly Kursk fire-pocket are under Russian FPV-drone and artillery control 24/7. But this dire situation didn't stop Zelenskyy from sending more and more troops into this horrendous slaughterhouse in a futile attempt to get a less disastrous media picture before forthcoming Riad negotiations. Nobody has ever squandered lives and equipment on such a colossal scale due to media picture obsession before Zelenskyy. It's nuts.
55
Russians occupy high ground in Verbove area, but dumb and callous Ukrainian command is launching wave after wave of suicidal attacks through low ground under Russian fire control without taking Robotyne and securing the flanks. It's just another mass slaughter of Ukrainian troops pure and simple. Russians still control part of this tiny hamlet Robotyne and it's driving Zelenskyy nuts. He can't take this tiny hamlet about 5 miles away from Ukrainian controlled Orekhov since June 4 and the first main line of Russain defense is still 9 miles away from Robotyne. 🤣 Ukrainian army in its current dismal state proved to be completely impotent. 48
Budanov is at least a year too late. Putin repeated that he was ready for negotiations as always, but there would be no ceasefire or freeze until a final settlement on Russian terms was agreed. Yeah, it's too late in the game for any negotiations. The war is lost by Ukraine. Unconditional surrender is the only practical solution for Ukraine at this point. Hitler's Germany also refused to admit defeat until Hitler killed himself, then Keitel signed unconditional surrender. Post war settlement is Russia's business.
45
@faamousZz Yeah, the problem is that the inmates are running the asylum.
41
@Hbmd3E It's just too little too late. The war is effectively lost by Ukraine.
41
"Kursk operation is one of the biggest Ukrainian victories." Zelenskyy. If this unmitigated disaster for Ukraine is "one of the biggest Ukrainian victories", it's even scary to imagine how Ukrainian defeats look like.
39
@heinkhel You got it. I wrote several textbooks.
27
Assad made huge mistakes. He demobilized seasoned soldiers and replaced them with fresh conscripts without a real ability to train and motivate them. Seasoned officers were replaced by politically convenient figures from sunni tribes with dubious loyalty that could be bought and sold. And the latest stupid thing Assad did was to ask Iranian proxies to leave Aleppo. They were effectively responsible for that area. Russians urged Assad to meet Erdogan halfway in solving YPG and refugees' problems, but he refused. In the end Russians can't be more Syrian than Syrians. It will be a Muslim brotherhood horror show for minorities, moderate sunnies and all Arab states except Qatar. Only Turkey, Israel, Qatar and CIA will be fine with it.
25
You are so naive. People in Germany could do nothing to stop Hitler in 1945 when it was obvious that the war was lost, the same with Ukraine.
24
Trump will get the hole in the doughnut instead of 500 billion in rare-earths. It's Russian land up to Polish border.
22
@Slava_RUkraine Almost all influential countries (except US satellites) like China, India, Brazil, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Iran etc. are implicitly on Russia's side. They are deeply uncomfortable with US hegemony at this point.
21
@horoshkoaleksandr273 Can they finally fix your program, bot? Putin never said that. Or any Russian for that matter. It was USA general Milley. And it was taken out of context. "If we don't do anything, Russians will take Kiev in three days"
13
@Hamzat22 Russians demilitarized not only Ukraine air force, but also air force of Eastern Europe. Promises to donate F-16s (I still don't believe that Lockheed will let reputation of this vital for its sales jet be ruined) were made for a reason.
13
@Patir_Sigma Sure, kid, he told it to you. We totally believe you. You should cope a bit harder, to be really funny.
13
As usual gay-lovers of her husband are ignored in the investigation. It's not PC.

Avdiivka is Bakhmut 2.0. Zelenskyy and his minions are simply incapable of learning from past blunders. Even NYT noticed in desperation: "Some American officials say the fight in Bakhmut has become something of an obsession for Mr. This ongoing obsessive lunacy that makes zero military sense is simply astounding. Avdiivka is another Zelenskyy obsession. Russians established fire control over all escape routes from Avdiivka. Russians even distance mined escape routes. At this point it turned into a slaughter of Ukrainian troops which are sent to Avdiivka in huge numbers (yeah, Zelenskyy and his minions are that dumb even after Bakhmut debacle). Dnipro crossings are another example of Zelenskyy lunatic behavior. Just for media hype Ukrainian command got Ukrainian troops into a small fire sack on Russian bank. It keeps sending troops into this meat grinder without even bothering with the evacuation of the wounded. It's nuts. Zelenskyy is the gift that keeps on giving for Russians.
9
@Ozbird-72 Napoleon and Hitler were of the same opinion. It ended up badly for both.
9
Blinken insistence on kidnapping 18 year-olds off the streets shows that Ukrainian army collapse is just around the corner. "The main object of operations should not be the territory, but the enemy's army. If the army runs out, the territory will come by itself. " Helmut von Moltke Senior. This war proved once more that old Moltke was right.
