Zelenskyy was in Washington cup in hand so he had to say something. His recent story that he will take Bakhmut and two unnamed cities by the end of the year.😂 Even NYT noticed in desperation: "Some American officials say the fight in Bakhmut has become something of an obsession for Mr. Zelensky and his military leaders." Bakhmut was a slaughter which was entirely Zelenskyy folly as Stalingrad was entirely Hitler's folly. Zelenskyy just for media hype wasted on average 500 troops daily (total tally was at least 51 000 KIA) in Bakhmut meat grinder even when all escape routes came under Russian fire control and this debacle turned into a sheer slaughter of Ukrainian troops. But obsessed with Bakhmut Zelenskyy didn't stop even at that. Since May 20 when Russians took Bakhmut General Syrsky (Zelenskyy minion) launched wave after wave of suicidal counterattacks failing to retake a single village near Bakhmut (parts of villages Andriivka and Kleshiivka are still controlled by Russians and it's driving Zelenskyy nuts) while wasting thousands upon thousands of hapless Ukrainian conscripts. This ongoing obsessive lunacy that makes zero military sense is simply astounding. With this lunatic behavior Zelenskyy regime will likely crumble by the end of the year.

Ukraine is losing 2 to 3 brigade's a month at this rate. That's unsustainable.” Western supplies are a drop in the bucket taking into account the amount of already lost hardware. Without direct intervention of Polish or Romanian armies Ukrainian army will be done by the end of the year. 40+ billion in American weapons without even minimal oversight is mostly about corruption and kickbacks as usual. I suppose Ukraine is the second largest buyer of Hunter's art after China.

Ukraine already lost most trained and motivated soldiers along with almost all hardware it had before the war plus hundreds of tanks and IFVs it got from Eastern Europe (to understand the scale of losses it had 1 990 tanks, 1 212 IFVs, 1 112 heavy artillery systems, 354 multiple rocket launchers). Its army is a shadow of its former self at the beginning of the war. Zelenskyy is catching and forced conscripting often at gunpoint mostly people with zero motivation to die for him, who never served in the army, often disabled. When such people are in the trenches, it means that the front can collapse at any moment. According to WaPo of all places Russians have 1:6 advantage in artillery (you can imagine their real advantage) . 85% of Ukrainian soldiers are killed even without seeing an enemy . Biden administration is getting quite desperate. The only option left for Biden administration is to throw Polish army into a meat grinder. I just hope that Polish government isn't that crazy.

It looks like a trap. The battle is happening near Russian border with very good logistics for the Russians unlike Kherson. It's far less strategic for the Russians than Kherson. If Pentagon diversity experts at the helm were a bit wiser, it would give them a big pause. They are wasting last Ukrainian reserves (what wasn't destroyed in a failed Kherson counteroffensive) on a dummy.
